Root Shutdown Animations [LG Connect 4G - ROOTED]

I've been trying to change the shutdown animation for this phone but steps similar to this do not work:

How to change Boot-Up Shut-Down Animations

I believe this is because the shutdown animation folder is located somewhere else on this phone. Does anyone know where? Or how to get different shutdown animation? Or, maybe there is an app or something?

I have already changed the boot animation using a program called "Total System" it creates a zip file in "System/Media". I've tried recreating one called shutdown.zip with same pics inside, however, this does not work. I would appreciate any help with this.

The best thing that you could do is use root explorer to dig around in it. On some (from what I've heard) the shutdown, and or startup are actually in the bios of the phone, and thus is prevented. I know that our startups can change, but not sure about the shut down.
Even if you COULD/DO find a way to change it, you'd need another one that you could use, and would have to overwrite the other one with it. And even then it may not work depending on if they use MD5 detection for the name (which I doubt)

I think you might be right about it being in the bios, even the custom start up I have appears after the LG intro, I search my ass off in the root and couldn't find anything. Thanks for your input.
