Help Shuts down then repeatedly shows startup screen

My samsung stratosphere randomly shut off today and ever since has been showing the samsumg logo signaling startup, but the shuts off again. It repeats this until the battery is taken out. Any suggestions to get my phone back on so i can restore it? HELP PLEASE

Mine has been doing the same thing and I just got the phone a week ago...

Factory Reset the device... if the problem continues, contact VZW for a replacement.

Mine did this. I called Verizon and they said it was a virus that my phone somehow got. They walked me through resetting it, and it works fine now. I don't remember which buttons they told me to do for a hard reset, but that's what you'll have to do since you can't get it to turn on. If you give them a call, they will tell you how to do it.

Pull the battery, then put it back in and power up holding VOL DOWN+VOL UP+POWER until the menu appears, the "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option is right there... use volume keys to move up and down, Power to select item, and back to, well back up.
