Shutter sound

I was just wondering if I can remove the shutter sound from my camera on my phone, I can't find that option the properties

I think some jurisdictions require that a camera makes a sound when taking pictures, so that's what manufacturers have to comply with. So the default camera apps do the shutter sound even when the device is set to silent.

There might be some third-party silent camera apps available on Google Play.
