Root Side loading apps

How would I go about side loading apps into a rooted NC via usb cable ?

If you're rooted, why would you need to?

Because, I have downloaded apps saved on my home computer. I'd like to have them in my NC.

Transfer them on your sdcard, and use a file browser app to open them. It'll offer to install them.

Next time, backing up with Titanium Backup, would be easier.

You should have one already loaded on CM. Look for File Browser.

Once you get everything set up, you can transfer files between machines easily using Drobox and install backups that way, if you prefer.
