Help Side Lock Bug

Hi,

Since my phone has got the Android 4.4.4 update, whenever theres an ongoing
call, the side lock button stops working and the phone cannot be unlocked
till the call is going on.

Please suggest what can be done. I am fed up with this bug.

This is an issue with the proximity sensor... do a factory default and if the problem continues it will likely need to be repaired.
