signal boosting help needed/4g inactive why?

Ok so I get 0-1 bar at my home and lose service for minutes at a time in 1-2 hour intervals. I've got a few signal boosting apps but they don't seem to help. Ive also looked at some Wilson signal amplifiers but they're expensive and I'm not sure how well they work. Does anyone have luck with a particular app or have insight on the physical amplifiers?

Also my 4g is being nonresponsive and stubborn. When I turn it on it says that the 4g antenna is on, but when I 'tap to check off signal' it does nothing, doesn't tell me it did or did not find 4g signal. Not so much asban "f you" I have boost. I called customer care and they refreshed my phone to no effect.

Also I'm not looking for something magical out of my cdma signal, but a stable 1 bar would be nice. Thanks.

I am still testing out the wilson signal amplifers, I have had it for 2 days now and still messing with it. I bought car adapter with the home office kit so I can use it in my house. I was driving around today and getting higher speeds with the wilson amplifer in certain places. I will try and get back to you when I test it out more.

Ok thats awesum thanks. Im sure what ur talking about os the one im considering. I definitly am not going for the rooftop antenna mdel for upwards of half a grand. Where did you get yours and how much was it ir u dont mine me asking?

Any so-called 'signal booster' apps are worse than worthless. Uninstall.

Who is your service provider? T-Mobile US will provide signal boosters for free. Other providers charge you which is a total rip-off.

I bought it from a online store called 3Gstore. I got it all for 175. 130 for the signal booster and 35 for the home office kit and 5 for shipping.. I bought the wilson sleek 4G signal booster.

I tried one of those so called apps for the hell of it.. It seems like all it does it airplane mode it for you.

That's a reasonable price, I think, provided it can keep me at least one bar ahead most of the time. I'm a dl and net junkie lawl. Have you had time to judge its effectiveness at home?
