Signal Strength. Better then my Incredible?

granger

Newbie
I am torn between the razr and the upcoming nexus. While I have work through most my pros/cons on both phones, the one area I am unsure on is signal strength. I have not been happy with my HTC Incredible in this category and if one of these phones would be a big improvement over my HTC that could help make up my mind.

Let me know, based on your experience with the razr or samsung phones in general, how you would rank signal strength performance for the Incredible, Razr and Galaxy Nexus (or similar).

Thanks for your help!!!

The only real way this can get answered for you is for someone to have both or someone to have had Moto phones in the past. I plan on getting the G Nex to see some things. When I get it I can pop back in here and answer comparing it to my RAZR.

In general....Moto phones have had better reception than most others in my experience. From my Moto E815 to the Samsung u740, Samsung Omnia 1, Droid 1, Droid X1... Moto performed better with reception. Samsung used to have big issues with GPS that they fixed with the GS2. So where ever they're lacking they can fix it if given the chance.

And even when I get the G Nex....there is a chance mine could be a lemon if it turns out to not be as good as my RAZR in reception. Even when the Incredible came out, there were threads of ppl getting a Droid X1 and happy about the better reception. Even with the Photon vs the Epic Touch 4G. But...we shall soon see.

Thanks for your insight. I agree with the wait and see approach, but obviously if someone has a G Nex now and can provide feedback it would help.

I am getting tired of the waiting game, as I know most of us are. Honestly, I'd like to get to the using the phone stage and away from the decision making part.

Anyway, thanks for your help and take care!
