Signal strength.

Most of the phones prior to this on Virgin Mobile, they didn't have the best signals right? Some people thought it was the radios built into the phones themselves, others thought it was carrier related.

Compared to the phone you had prior to this, How does the HTC Evo V 4G compare?

The radios on the Optimus V and Slider have excellent radios. The radio on the MT sucks, I think I read it only has the 1900mHz radio in it or something.

It would be nice if someone had a evo 3d on sprint and the evo v 4g to finally compare sprint vs virgin mobile once and for all.

Could have been done long ago, the Intercept was originally on Sprint. Never had a reception issue on Virgin till my Triumph btw.

Sadly yet another reason for the Triumph to fall further on it's face if Virgin does institute roaming on Verizon come 7/1. ie: no 850 MHz radio onboard. Probably a primary reason for the Triumph sucking so much indoors, the 850 MHz band is much more efficient indoors.

They retracted the roaming statement. So I wouldn't count on it.

With the Optimus V, I typically had all but one bar of full service at home. With the Triumph, I only had about half the bars. The Evo is pretty much the same as the Optimus V as far as I can tell at this point with regard to radio strength (that's good in my mind).

The GPS lock is instantaneous.

Mine has been weird when switching towers as I drive around. Idk if the phone is having issues or if the indicator itself is having issues. the bars disappear but then go to full then once it gets a lock on a tower it seems to be normal again for a bit.
