Signal strengths of those with excellent battery life

Just wondering what kind of signal strengths you guys who get 16 plus hrs of battery life get. I'm at 15 percent after a little over 7 hours, however I'm getting between 1 and 3 bars with a good bit of fluctuation regardless to which radio I flash

I have an extended battery so I typically get around 3 days of battery life. That said, I average around 2-3 bars at work (office buildings suck for signal) and around 4-5 at home. Whenever I'm outside I'm usually showing 5-6 bars.

Stock battery and run from no signal to about 3 bars around the house. I am in a remote area and am on the very edge of 3G. In a few spots the signal drops and on others it jumps down to 1x.

I have no problem getting about 48 hours of stanby if I don't toucht he phone, and about 24 hours if I use it normally. That is with data on, 2 email accounts set to push and no battery apps or anything like that.

Make sure you are keeping GPS/bluetooth/wifi/4G off when you are not using them. Just get a toggle toolbar like Power Toggles to put on your home screen.

Also make sure there is nothing installed that is keeping a wake lock and preventing the phone from going to deep sleep. Mine gets uninterrupted deep sleep on the battery info except for when push emails come in, then it shows a small spot where it woke.

During a 12-hour shift and a Laza battery, I have about 9 hours between 0 and 1 bar with frequent dropped signal. About 3 hours of full bars and browsing. And I leave work with ~55% left.

Bluetooth/GPS on, wifi and 4G off.

Stock battery. Mobster ROM.

Right now, at home, I have approximately 3-4 bars.

When at work, I average 0-1 bars, due to the building construction.

outside, full service.

So really, my battery life fluctuates. A day I work, say 8-430. My phone comes off the charger at about 7am. By the time I get out of work, my battery is approximately 60-70%. Just depends on how much I do with it while on lunch and whatnot.

Day off like yesterday, my phone was off the charger at 7am, and when I plugged it in at 10pm last night, it was at about 64%. So I can average approximately a day to 1.5 days, depending on usage.

Your mileage may vary ;)

its pretty well known that if you are in a good signal coverage area, your battery life improves significantly.

in low signal areas the phone is constantly reaching out to ping towers and maintain connection.

if i am forcing data usage through my 3G connection at 1-2 bars at home, my battery drains in 2-3 hours.

but if I'm at my friends house where he gets full 3G and 4G, i can stream videos and use the data for hours at a very slow battery drain
