Signatures disappearing

I have been seeing a lot of the members' signatures suddenly disappearing in the posts they make, including my own. Is there some kind of problem with signatures?

The LG Ally/All Things Root/Velocity 1.1 thread, and its Script thread, are good examples, but I suspect thiis is happening widely on the forum.

Signatures are only supposed to show once for each user, per page of a thread.

Looks like I missed the memo on that one. Having seen some forums where the ridiculously bloated multimedia signatures so overwhelm each posting that I have trouble reading them, this is actually I great idea! I just didn't know it had been put into effect.
