Help Signing in

I just got the Outlook.Com App
They want me to sign in,but i don't know which account they want.
I tried some with no luck & there is no way to say i forgot user name & password.
Anyone use this app ???????

Shouldn't it be your hotmail username & password? Using the browser, I put in my username as name at hotmail dot com, even though I'm on outlook.com site.

I can't say for sure because I do not use the app. Just a thought!

Not sure what the app does. I just added both my hotmail account s under Accounts when I set my tab . Maybe that's not allowed anymore?

That's right, it's not an e-mail app like Outlook on the desktop, where you can set it up for practically any e-mail account, it will only work for Microsoft e-mail accounts, Hotmail, MSN, outlook.com etc.

However, if an outlook.com e-mail account can be configured to download e-mail from other providers, then it would work for non-microsoft accounts, but you have to start with an outlook.com, or hotmail etc. account.
