Help SIII Pulsing, Screen Black

Hi All,

There is possibly water damage to my Galaxy. Spilled drink, not submerged. I took the battery and SIM out and put it in a bowl of rice last night. This morning I put the battery back in and tried to power on and to my surprise the LED Notification lit up a solid red and the phone did a pulsing vibrate a few times. Just a short vibrate every 1-2 seconds, but the screen doesn't light up. Just stays black. Since the light lights up and the phone vibrates I know it's not completely shorted out. I just don't know if anyone else has encountered anything like this or if there are any recommendations.

Thanks.

With all my water damaged mobile repairs, I simply put them under high temperatures for a short durations, a hair dryer is the most effective: D
Rice is only really good if it’s been submerged into water, Rice absorbs the moisture it makes contact with, but water inside it can reach.
Try a hair dryer or place on a towel and place on a radiator: D
