Silence the phone except phone calls

Is there anyway I can silence the phone while I am sleeping except for phone calls?

I'm pretty sure Locale can manage a situation based on time (you can also switch on and off manually) to turn off notifications, but leave the ringer on. I'm not 100% sure, but that's where I would try first.

The only way I have seen is to set "notifications" to silent and leave the phone setting to ring. I was looking for the same option.
