Silly question: Desire as MP3 player only

So I bought a Nexus 4 a few months ago and have a spare Desire hanging about. Other than as an occasional spare phone (assuming I have to return the Nexus 4 or planning on doing something silly), I have no use for it, so I'm thinking of using it as MP3 player device.

Given that I won't need the phone functionality or even the SenseUI, is there a particular ROM that might be suitable for my requirements? I don't think I need all the features that some ROMs came with, and one of the last Sense 3.x ROMs I tried really slowed the device down.

Just to use it as a music player pretty much any ROM should do. dGB is really minimal, but as a consequence responsive. Redux is old but also good. Even the original stock ROM would be fine - at least much lighter than a Sense 3 rOM.

Thanks - it's been a long while since I last looked at Desire ROMs, so I've no idea what the current state of them is. dGB is presumably best suited to what I want, so I'll take a look at that.
