Apps Silly questions about publishing on Play store.

Android Enthusiast
All the advice I can find about publishing apps is about making money and marketing them. Contrary to all expectations, I don't want to do any of that, I just have basic "mechanical" questions about how much infrastructure I have to have to publish some totally free but very specialized apps on the play store where it will be simple for the small number of users who want them to download them.

Things like:

I'm supposed to make a namespace for my app derived from my domain name. I don't have a domain name. Do I really need to get an officially registered domain name to publish an app (and keep it renewed as long as the app is on the play store)?

I suppose with a domain name registration, I can probably get email and web pages so the links that play store entries always seem to have to the developer email and web page can use the same name?

Is there some android free and open source developer site I could join to publish a free open source app that would incorporate all this infrastructure for me so I don't have to fool with it just to make it simpler for folks to install my app?
