Help "Sim Authorization Error" RAZR outage

Been this way for 2days in NH. figured I would call vzw for the hell of it and the 1st message before you can enter a prompt is " we are aware of issues with 4g lte devices in your area and are working on it" just gotta ride it out I guess

Central NC here

I received the red x on my Droid RAZR around 930 or 10 this morning. I rebooted and didn't have anymore issues for awhile. Then sometime this afternoon I completely lost data and the 1x, 3g, and 4g icons disappeared for an hour or two. Now the 3g signal has returned and the signal bar isn't white anymore. I called customer service and an automated message said that they are aware of 4g data problems in my area and are currently working on it.

On the way home from work and lost all data connection. Could still make calls. Now at home and 3g came back.....evidently pretty sporadic situation..

The Verizon level three guy sent me a new Sim. Except he sent me a full sized Sim. I guess training hadn't caught up yet.

Long Island, NY here. Same issue for 2 days now. Did some trouble shooting on my own when 3G disappeared (which I thought was related to a battery-saver app I downloaded) and when I flipped the LTE Option on, I got the SIM CARD AUTHORIZATION ERROR. Verizon was clueless yesterday and at least today they have it on their radar. I powered down about an hour ago, pulled the SIM, reinserted it and powered on and the ERROR hasn't reappeared as it had been, but my 3G is still nowhere to be found.

Somewhat relaxed now, knowing it's not just my RAZR.

I love the phone, after replacing an HTC TouchPro2 (which I had for 2 years), and I don't even have 4G in my area yet. Would just like to get my Verizon Network Back soon.

Rebooted about 40 minutes ago with no luck with my 4g still. However, if you absolutely NEED data, try going to menu > setting > Wireless & networks > Mobile Networks > Network Mode and select CDMA Only. After a few minutes I got full 3G and it hasn't dropped once. :)

I'm not promising it will work for you, but it has for me.

This did not bring mt 3G Back in NY...

menu > setting > Wireless & networks > Mobile Networks > Network Mode and select CDMA Only

Come on Verizon - Provide some status...

I just rebooted. Error is gone. I can't test the 4g since I'm home now and I only get 4g at work. But looks like it's probably fixed here in Oklahoma.

I posted earlier that I had the SIM replaced yesterday and today I got the message again.

I rebooted the phone when I got home from work (work is only 3G area) and 4G came back and has been fine all night. I wonder if it is an issue when the phone is out of 4G coverage for a prolonged period.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. My red X is gone and my 3g is back, I just can't test the 4g from home.

Back On!

The Battery Saver App I was using, and uninstalled, had turned off the "DATA ENABLED" option in SETTINGS | DATA MANAGER.

WOO!

Actually, you don't need to do squat if it is back on in most cases. Mine picked up automatically.

I'm in Kansas in an area that does not have 4g (yet). I got the error yesterday afternoon and my 3g was gone. I restarted my phone which got rid of the X but my 3g has not come back. If I was close to a 4g area I would test your theory, but there isn't 4g within 3 hours of me.
