Root SIM Card Changed?

I recently rooted my phone and flashed with LeeDroid 2.2f A2SD+ and I'm very impressed with it. Every time I start up my phone tho I get a red triangle with an "!" in the middle in the taskbar, when I check to see what it is it says "SIM Card Changed" then underneath says tap here to change your settings. However whenever I tap it, I get a message saying it's stopped and I need to force close. Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know of a solution?

Put another registered SIM from another network in the phone, it doesn't matter if the phone is SIM locked, switch on, Swith off and replace with your original SIM and if its not fixed tell us what it says.

I don't think the original flash was successful, the only other thing I can suggest is a Titanium back up and a re-flash, A Nand back up is likely to store your problem. I'm guessing but your an Orange user?

Thanks mate I'll see how it goes cause at the moment it's not happening all that frequently and I've just put all my apps back in.

You could try rubbing the SIM with a plastic bag, it will reduce static if there is any. It probably wont help you but its worth a try and mush easier than flashing.

check your APN settings, I think I had three after I flashed leedroid. I deleted one (consumerbroadband IIRC). I now have 2 APNs Orange MMS and Orange Intenet.
No more SIM change message

i am having the same problem (sim card changed on start up. tap here to change your settings)then sorry! bla bla force close. i get the same message when i go to access point names and also setup app. could be why i am frequently losing data connection and cant access one of my email accounts?

Hi, I might be late with this, but I am getting the same problem, checked with my provider and everything seems in order, but as soon as I lose connection to the network, I get the error "SIM card changed, tap here to change your settings". It happens every time I lose access to the network and very often when I reboot.

Suggestions? I would try to re-flash but I don't have a clue how!

I have the same problem.I didn't root just the 'sim cards changed tap to change settings' showing up randomly while browsing the internet.what should I do?

What device do you have? This section of the forum is for the 2010 HTC Desire, and I'm probably the last person left still watching it (mainly because I've never unticked that box!), so it's likely you'll get more help if you post in a different section of the forum, either the forum for your particular device or a general forum like Android Lounge.

If you can supply as much information as you can (what device & OS version would be the minimum) that may help.

Are you sure that it's not the SIM card itself that's the problem? I've not had that particular problem from the SIM, but I've had SIMs fail before now (and at the moment my phone occasionally says "no SIM inserted", though it does recognise that it's the same SIM when it reconnects).
