Help SIM card error (Verizon models)

Many owners of the S3 using Verizon have reported getting an error when they dial or send a text. The error says something to the affect of "No SIM card found" etc. If this has happened to you then you know which error I mean. Some thought that the phone was having issues switching between 4G and 3G towers.

I was at a Best Buy today and the rep told me they had gotten in a batch of new "red colored SIM cards" for the S3 and they were to swap them with the OEM ones before making a sale. It appears Samsung might have found a fix. This was only for S3 users on VZW.

I hope this info helps those of you experiencing this issue on VZW.

Lastly, rumor has it previous Samsung models had the same issue on Verizon's network. Maybe they don't play well together.

I had this happen for the first time today. Fixed with a reboot. If it happens again I'll look into a swap, thanks!

I bought my S3 on 10-27-2012 and have been having this issue. I have been told it was the sim card or the phone. The I had both replaced and still get the error. I have talked to several Verizon tech and keep getting a told it's a Samsung software issue! WTF! Has anyone with this issue gotten it solved? I I would really like to figure it out.
