I was in South Korea for 1 year and I got a Samsung Galaxy S2 phone while there because it was cheaper then bringing my Sprint phone overseas.
Before I returned to the US, I called Sprint and they said that yes I could bring the phone back to the US and use it on the Sprint network.
Now that I'm back in the US, I've called Sprint to put the phone on their network and now they are telling me that since it isn't a Sprint phone and since their isn't an ESN, it won't work.
I was talking to a friend about this situation and he said maybe I could get a SIM card that would allow me to put the phone on the Sprint network.
Was wondering if anyone on here would know if that is true or had any more info on if this was possible.
thanks
