Help sim card issue

I unlocked my infuse using a inactive tmobile sim, after the unlock i inserted my at&t card and it said "no sim card installed", I tried inserting other sim cards and the phone recognized none of them, I use the sim card on my other phone and it is fine, I have also factory reset the phone several times, any advice?

Not trying to be smart, but are you sure you've inserted it right-side up? I did this a couple of times before I realized that it was in the wrong way.
