Help SIM Card Lock - page image

Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 - SM-G900F - Android version 5. When the device is switch on the SIM Card Lock page opens requesting I enter a PIN. This is as it should be of course and how I set the device up.

However, the background image shown has long since been removed from my device and so I assume that it must be stored in a cached area somewhere. I would like to remove this image from the said page but can find no actual way of achieving this. Does anyone on the forum have any ideas?

Could be as simple as none of the 62 people know the answer. I don't. Never had that problem.

Me neither - on all my phones the "SIM Unlock" screen has been simply overlaid on the current lockscreen.

I'll move this thread to the Galaxy S5 sub-forum in the hope that someone there can advise you.

Try wiping your phone's cache partition as per #1.3 of S5 Lollipop Update Problems - Dummies Guide and see if that helps.
