'Sim Card' logo on some text messages

Hi

Some messages I get have a sim logo on them, some don't.

It seems quite arbitrary, does anybody know what this logo means?
I have searched the manual to no avail.

If I go to "Manage SIM card messages" in settings, it tells me that there are no messages on the sim card.

There are probably 500 text messages on the phone in total.

Does anyone have an explanation ?

It could be that the contact you recieved the text message from is saved on your sim rather than as a google contact...
