Lurker
I bought a charge from a guy on craiglist, the phone is in good condition since i already have a droid already i want to use it just for wifi and email. is there a way i can bypass the activation? please help thanks

Thanks I did everything and finally got it:)
So, you have inserted a 4G sim and activated it then returned the SIM to your friend. Is that correct?

I'm also in the same boat. Bought on craigslist for cheaper price and thought of using with with WiFi. It worked fine until I did a reset to factory settings.

i greatly appreciate any help on this

Found the resolution at below website
Activating a Verizon Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE without a Sim Card (2nd article)

"Touch the top left corner, then top right corner, then bottom left (just above the android controls, and then bottom right (above the status tray) and last volume UP once. All five steps are done relatively quickly and in sequence. Your tablet will spring to life."
