I have android 5.1.1 rooted and when I try to register my SIM card it says your SIM doesn't allow connection to this network. Is there a fix for this?

Try going into system settings / mobile networks / network operators and select your network

That's what I did and I removed my sim and card and put it back in and isn't reading.
