Help Sim card pop up

Have had the same sim card for years. An old phone had a pop up message saying "how are you". Has now reappeared on my she's every time my phone starts. Right annoying. Anyone know how I can get rid?

This sounds to me like the old welcome message. Not seen this in a long while.
I'm not sure if there is a Sim app you can download, but failing that all I can think of is to put the Sim into a blackberry as they have much better Sim related features. Go into settings, advanced, dim or similar, and have a look round in there. Maybe a welcome message editor in there butty.
