So I went from a Note 1 to a Mega and totally forgot about the sim card size... The Mega only takes a Mini sim. Must I buy another sim that's mini? Will it have the same number and contents?
T-Mobile swaps the cards, even tranfers their contents, but only in their shops, no need to change the phone number. Costs?
Other carrier should do this too, ask on the web site of yours

I believe the size format you need is called a micro sim. It's the same card and contacts, just physically smaller. You can cut yours like I did.
Buy a micro sim cutter from ebay or amazon, they cost around $5, and file down any sharp edges. You can also take it to any independent cell phone shop and they'll cut it for about the same price.
You can also buy a micro sim from straight talk, make sure it's with the same carrier you are currently on. When you get it call them and have them transfer the account over.
