How long does it take to receive the code?

It should be same day, or certainly no longer than one business day. All they need is your payment info and phone IMEI number. Bear in mind that you will need to obtain or borrow a SIM card from another carrier in order to be prompted for the unlock code. Once unlocked, it's permanent… even if you change phone numbers or factory reset.
