Sorry if this has been posted before.

Im going to be getting the S3 and have read it requires a micro sim card..

is it possible to get my exsisting number transfered onto the micro sims? or is a new number req

I got a new micro sim. Cost me $20 nz.The vodafone guy took a minute on the computer then syncd my gmail contacts to the phone. Done. Easy as. No need to cut your card.

If your going to use same network they'll just swap sim unless it's T mobile who'll charge a tenner otherwise just get a pac number and port your number to new network

Im with O2 and it took the guy in the shop less than 5 min to get the details for your old sim (i had my old phone with me which a text varifiaction pin number was sent twice), my old sim was then de-activated in less than another 5 min but could of took up to 24hrs he said. All you have to do then is put in your new micro sim in your new phone....job done, they don't charge and you keep your old phone number.
