sim contacts disappeared

[plutozzz]

My contact list on my HTC Desire u is only showing email contacts, no sim card contacts are shown. They were there but yesterday they vanished ! The speed dial numbers are still present and the history still shows numbers as does the log but the contact list does not. I think the list is simply not showing the sim card contacts but I don't know how to change it. Any help please ?

Hi

It could just be the setting has changed:

Open contacts
menu button
display options
under choose contacts to display, make sure SIM is ticked. (select an account and the detailed options appear)

I dont have your device, but it will be similar

I guess you have tried ticking "show all"? Most people dont keep contacts on the SIM but in the "phone contacts" (which is in the phones memory rather than on the SIM card, if not in a google account.
