sim network is locked

i decided to reset my android racer 2
after that it is telling me sim network is locked
please some one help me. is a brand new phone.
i live in Cameroon
 
You need to enter network unlock code. No need to panic, some one with code generator might show up. Haven't you got a unlock code at time of purchase??? / Device was factory unlocked???
 
i don't think so. thanks very much for the quick reply. let me check on the manual but i don't think it is there because i have checked

yes i have tried the link.
i decided to reset my ZTE racer 2.
after that it told me sim network is lock.and below the message it shows emergency dialer

so i followed a post on this site which to me to Daile
*983*258# which i did.
after the phone loads and ask me to enter
unlock password
please i dont have or know the password they are asking me to enter. please help me out
