when u start the phone, it detects if sim is here or not and if sim is there u can type ur sim code...
i look for an app that can fake that my phone has no sim card so when i want to switch off my network i use this app to completely unreg my sim... instead of using plane mode which does nearly the same: when u get idle too much in plane mode it unregs u from network and u have to type ur simcode again...
