For the address book, you can export all of your contacts on your Mac as a vCard. Then you can just run the USB to your phone, and drag the vCard onto it. From there, go to your Contacts on the phone, press the menu, and hit "Import/Export". Import the vCard and it should work.
I realize it's not the best solution for syncing, but depending on your needs, it may help.
I suppose I could buy one of those cheap little plug in cards and "sync" with that ... except they get lost/stolen/bent/wet/"unavailable(?)" or the slots get corroded/burned/"unavailable(?)" ... or my system(s) just doesn't have a slot (like the Mac Minis, I have 4).
Way too much skull sweat invested in this so far ...
So, I did finally get some action by converting to vCard (export from Address Book via Blue Tooth) ... BUT only 47 contacts of more than 250 available came across ... WTF?
What, exactly, are you looking to sync? Sync by itself could mean anything. From context, it's clear that you want contacts sync. Calendar? Notes? Tasks? Music? Media?
