Root Simple blue themes apps

Will fix up OP later... but here's the goods for those who can't wait.

Here's a simple version of YouTube and gmail
Themed blue on black
Deodexed
Take up less space
Less bull
Gmail reads like classic... no jumbled conversation crap. Incoming is in inbox. Outgoing in outbox. What was wrong with that google?

By the way.... in the above pic... the vid on top is awesome.

Only install if you know what your doing : ) back up old apk's if you can, or having a cwm backup would be the best just in case.

Zip contains 2 apk files

Remove existing apps using the uninstaller of your choice (when you remove gmail app... your phone will more than likely restart. Don't be skeeered)

Open new all files in your file manager and install package

Done!

NOTE: IM RUNNING THESE ON STOCK ROM WITH NO PROBLEMS SEEN. HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED ON CYANOGEN OR ANY OTHER ROMS. IF ANYONE WANTS TO TEST ON NON STOCK, FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Running on rooted LG Optimus V ...gingerbread 2.3.7.

No problems, thanks, can't wait for more.

The only thing, when i downloaded the file the Gmail icon was white with the blue M, but it was white with red M "stock "after install? ??
I wanted the white with blue, which way is it supposed to be?

The YouTube icon stayed blue

I think i misunderstood, when i downloaded the apk and opened it the icon was white with the blue M, i thought it would stay that way after installing,after install it was white with red M, i just thought it looked cool blue ,but no big deal I still love the app the way you did it, thanks.

It is likely that it is your launcher that is changing the icon. Is it stock launcher for your phone? Is there a theme option in settings?

It can be changed...... will just be a little tricky

for fun.... download nemus launcher from play store
similar to holo as far as speed and simplicity but I don't think it will change your icons.
