Hiya folks.
I have had my Nexus S for about 3 weeks now and I am loving the experience I am having setting it up "just right" I've gone through almost all of my data plan looking and installing different apps, games and widgits.
I am trying to enter an appointment for next month and it seems that I am doing something not quite right. I am using the GO team launcher and it's attending widgets. I came from a BB Curve and I liked that all that I had to do was open up the calendar, click a time...type what the meeting was for and save. It seems to be easy peasy. It is not so easy for me now using GO Calendar/Contacts. The Curve would use my contacts list's info such as birthdays and automatically enter that into the calendar. Right now that is not happening. When I try to enter an appointment all I see a red line across the time but when I click on it it says no events.
I'd rather not do any syncing cause it servers no purpose for me. Maybe I am doing something wrong...probably so help is needed.

By default that should be the normal behavior of the phone anyway
