Simple Data/Data Folder/Partition Question

hey guys, this may be a simple question, I've searched around XDA and here, and the net for answers but I couldn't find any specifically on my question. How do you access the data/data folder, the elusive 150MB space limited one without a paid app such as Root Explorer or NotEnoughSpace, is it possible to access it right in Windows or ES File Explorer

Sorry if I'm sounding thick, but how do you access it? And I appreciate the reply (:
I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll try to make this step by step.
First you install ES File Explorer from Market on a rooted phone. Then you open ES File Explorer (it might say at that moment something like ES File Explorer has got Superuser rights) and navigate to root directory of the phone (press the 1st icon on toolbar). Now simply scroll down and press on folder "data", then again "data". Now you are in /data/data/.

And if I remember correctly es file explorer only works(for root folders) on some roms/phones. And I think you need to go into the settings of es explorer and turn root access on.
