I am having a heck of a time finding a simple GPS app to do what I want. Here is what I am looking for...
Here is a real world example. I like to go hunting for mushrooms when they are in season. I find a few nice places in the forest that have a bunch of them. I want to save the GPS coordinates to a folder called "Mushrooms" or something like that. Then next year I can load the coordinates from the "Mushrooms" folder and be directed back to where I had found the mushrooms last year. The map doesn't have to be topo. It can be a simple map like the ones used with Trapster (Trapster is probably my favorite app).
- A GPS program that can save GPS coordinates preferably to folders.
- I can later bring up the saved coordinates and go back to where I saved the coordinates.
- Coordinates can either be saved live from an Android phone or saved from a computer or saved from a text message or e-mail.
