Root Simple steps to root my Nexus 7?

I need to root my Nexus 7 but everything in All things root is too confusing for me.
The previous android device I had was S2 and I used Odin for that.
But in the sticky I saw nothing about Odin, everything else is just too confusing.

I downloaded the Nexus toolkit but there were few ADH errors.

Is there any other way to do it?

WugFresh's toolkit is probably the easiest it can get. Just select your device at the top, install the drivers, unlock the bootloader (this WILL wipe your SDcard so make sure to back up your files), and then root.

Just a few clicks of the mouse and you should be on your way

I just rooted my nexus 7 without having to unlock bootloader and having all data wiped using this tutorial:

good if you just want simple root to use root apps. you still cant flash custom recovery or roms. need to unlock for that.
