Simple Tasker Screen On Profile Not Working

Hi, I've set up a very simple tasker profile to keep my screen on for a couple of apps.

So

Profile > Launch App > iPlayer, Youtube or Ghostery Browser
Task > Display Timeout > 23 Hrs
Exit Task > Display Timeout > 30 secs.

Launch the apps, but screen off after 30 secs. (I've tried deleting the Exit Task, makes no difference).

Other tasks seem ok (Auto rotate for certain apps, Silent at night, etc).

Any ideas? Plug in needed for screen timeout?

Rooted LG G3 (D855) running Android 5.0

I am confused as to what you have defined. Please ...
On the screen listing the Profile names ...
Long press on the profile name until it is selected
Click the three dots
Click Export
Click Description to Clipboard
Paste it into a message and post it here

This will include the Profile, Enter Task, and Exit Task. It would be something like ...

Profile: Test (535)
State: Variable Value [ %Sample ~ On ]
Enter: Anon (568)
A1: Beep [ Frequency:8000 Duration:1000 Amplitude:50 Stream:3 ]
Exit: Anon (569)
A1: Beep [ Frequency:8000 Duration:1000 Amplitude:50 Stream:3 ]
A2: Beep [ Frequency:8000 Duration:1000 Amplitude:50 Stream:3 ]

I encountered the same inconsistency on Andoid 8.0 / Tasker 5.1. I tried a few things and the following approach seems to work correctly.

Profile: A1 (570)
Application: A+ Gallery or chompSMS
Enter: Anon (571)
A1: Variable Set [ Name:%Time To:1 Recurse Variables:Off Do Maths:Off Append:Off ]
Exit: Anon (572)
A1: Variable Set [ Name:%Time To:2 Recurse Variables:Off Do Maths:Off Append:Off ]

Profile: A2 (575)
State: Variable Value [ %Time ~ 1 ]
Enter: Anon (576)
A1: Display Timeout [ Secs:0 Mins:1 Hours:0 ]
Exit: Anon (577)
A1: Display Timeout [ Secs:0 Mins:2 Hours:0 ]

... no I don't know why. You need to change the times to whatever you want.
