I'm a new Android user and have been used to sharing files across several computers (home + work) with Dropbox for years. I use simple file-level encryption (built into emacs) for sensitive information, since Dropbox itself isn't secure enough for my taste.
Now that I'm on Android, I'd like to be able to do the same, but I simply can't find a cross-platform (win/android) encryption scheme. I can't use Boxcryptor or any Win applications that require real installation, because I can't install stuff like that at work, so I need a very simple standalone encryption tool. I was hoping to use an AES editor on Android, but I can't find one that works on Android and Win.
Any suggestions? I can't believe that this is a new problem -- surely other people are syncing encrypted files with Dropbox?
thanks.
