Hi...
This is a weird one...
Running Android 2.3.3 and rooted, (thanks to this forum)
I've tested the native SIP client, SIPDroid and CSipSimple - all three experience the same issue - seems to be due to a 'feature' on this phone.
If you are in a SIP call you can hear the other caller just fine on regular speaker IF you do not have the phone next to your head.
When you move the phone close to your head, you cover the three small holes just above and to the right of the screen. These seems to cause the phone to switch to some different speaker mode - you lose incoming sound.
Move the phone away, the sound returns.
Sounds insane - but it does it every time.
Any ideas?
Regards
Paul
