Sirius Satellite

For anyone interested, I e-mailed Pocket Tunes and asked them about porting the app over to Android and this is the response I got:

Hi Brain,

Thanks, and you never know. Certainly if we see the demand on a certain platform we will consider it.
It is very expensive to port over to other platforms so we have to see a pretty good demand and
potential to do it. But the Droid seems to be doing well so it's certainly possible.

They just added an update last week that allows you to record any stream you are listening to (imagine the possibilities). As I mentioned previously it does stream both XM & Sirius (including Stern). There hasn't been a station I couldn't find in this app. If you are curious about a specific station feel free to ask and I will look it up. I have absolutely NOTHING to do with this product. I will receive NOTHING if this does come over to Android. Its just a fantastic app and I think it would be a great addition to the Android community.

Go to the bottom of the list and select the "Find other stations" item. Select the shoutcast option to open your browser to shoutcast and then search for "howard". You'll see lots of Howard 101 streams in the list, so just add one.
 
None of the Howard 100 or 101 stations on Streamfurious I can find are working now during Howard's times. Anyone have any other ways of getting it?

Howard 100 always comes up that the server has reached capacity. 101 sometimes will come up for a couple of minutes but then stops and will not reload. Both still work fine when O & A or other programming is on just not for Howard. Maybe they just can't handle the load. It was nice while it lasted to listen anywhere, now I am tied to my computer or car again. ughhh
 
Try cherry rplayer i also noticed that stream furs wont load the stream sometimes. So almost all the time i just start from the webpage then let it open up stream frus. The guy hosting that site changes the links up from time to time. Last Friday i was on the road for about an hour and it played the whole time from the phone.

You might have already tried all this but i thought i would give my input. I cant go long with out a stream working (makes the day go way to long)
 
Not sure why we're topping 6 month old threads, but for the record, Sirius has an official app out. You have to get it from their website though.
