Size compared to thunderbolt?

Anyone else worried this phone may be to big? I have thunderbolt now specs say 118mm , nexus is 136mm. Have there been any pictures posted of these two together?

As I've said.. my DX is 125mm and fits in any of my pockets with an inch to spare. 136mm? Big deal. Won't even notice it.

Nexus is half an inch longer. The perfect phone would be if the thunderbolts entire screen was useable. You could get a 4.8 phone in a 5" form factor. Someday.

Had similar concerns. My D2 is small, and when i use my friends DX or Thunderbolt they do seem huge.

Samsung GALAXY Nexus Visual Size Comparison

It is quite a bit bigger than the Thunderbolt, but no way to tell what it's really like until it's in my hands. Dont think the size will stop me from getting the Nexus, but it will probably take some getting used to.

EDIT: Just did a size comparison between the Gnex, Razr, and my D2. Didnt realize how amazingly THIN that Razr is!! The Gnex is pretty thin, and makes my D2 look like a brick, but the razr makes the Gnex look like a cow. Jeez!

I'm going from a Droid Eris to this phone. More than being concerned about the size, I'm excited about it. I have big hands, and after awhile of holding and using Eris my hand starts to hurt.

I've got large hands too, but I never had trouble with the physical size of the Eris. But then again, I only owned one for 6 months. When I moved to the DX it seemed HUGH the first day or so, but I got used to it quickly.

You're gonna love the SGX screen size. I went from the 3.2" Eris to the 4.2" DX and screen size makes ALL the difference in everything you do with the phone. Everything from reading text to selecting links on web pages is soooo much easier.

Also, I'm sure you'll love the capacitive menu buttons on the SGX. I always found the Eris cap. buttons unresponsive unless you hit them at the top, and occasionally selecting something on the screen by mistake. Heck, I went to physical buttons on the DX I hated the Eris buttons so much.

I went to that site and I ran a side-by-side of the Nexus, the Droid Razor, the TBolt, and the the Inc1. Wow. I didn't realize the Nexus was so long. It may be light, it may be thin, but it's really, really long. I have owned an Eris, an Incredible, and I currently carry a TBolt. Each one has been OK in my pocket, but when I'm sitting down, the TBolt (the largest so far) comes awfully close to being too long, i.e., to hitching against my hip. The Nexus may actually be too long, which would be a shame, since it's otherwise ideal, in my view.

Im interested to see how it fits in pocket also. since it is not as wide as some 4.3 inch phones and is lighter i think it will fit nicely in pocket and not feel like you have a brick in your pocket.

When I first got the EVO4G it was pretty fricken big. But the more i used it I thought i really wanted a bigger screen for internet and emails (just makes viewing things easier). I recently got the Galaxy S2 for Sprint which has a 4.5 inch screen. Keep in mind I'm bigger than the average guy, but trying to text with one had can be a pain in the ass...Still worth it IMO

Isn't the Incredible 4.63"? the tbolt is 4.75" 1/8" difference. As i said earlier. Its a half inch difference. Nex is a big phone. A bit too big for what its offering. That isn't a con, though.

I'm 6'4" so I definitely have the hands for it, just wondering if I'll have to rock a fanny pack to carry this thing in. I sale boats and jet skis and around water all day so pocketing this thing is out of the question, I currently have a thunderbolt with a seidio case and belt clip. I am going to try this one without the case and see if this will make it closer to the thunderbolt size. Hopefully seidio will make the belt clip for this phone without having to case it.
