Skinomi Techskin case for LG Spirit 4G

Ive used full bodies on iPod touch's, they do what they are suppose to do. I don't know how well it will work with the back of the spirit. They are usually difficult to put on, if you don't get it just right, get dust under it while installing it, probably drive you nuts at least it use to me.
 
So when you put it on, would removing the battery cover be an option, or does it seal the whole device up?

its not all one piece, the back is one part, then you got side strips, top and bottom strips, and then the front protector.to put the back on you take your back cover off and lay it on a flat surface.
 
I saw it came in pieces, I guess my question should've been "would it be more difficult to take the battery cover off with this on?", like say off its put on incorrectly or slightly off a lil. Sry I worded that last one wrong.

I don't think it would keep you form taking the back off.... From what i remember i don't think it goes over the edge of the cover.

Sweet, thanks for the feedback! I might just try one of these out. Do you think the phone would still fit in a regular case with one of these on?

depends on the thickness of the protectors, when i had one on the esteem i couldn't use most cases. Only the hybrid case would work, the one that's like a brick inside a tire.

With my iPod touch, most cases fit as long as it wasn't a slide on case.
 
I pulled the trigger and ordered one of these, the carbon fiber one (I was thinking about the wood one, but well..). So, I'll report in as soon as I get it :D
 
I like Skinomi's stuff for their skins, but I'm not big on their screen protectors. I don't know if they've changed it up recently, but a couple years back I ordered one and it required you to spray some liquid on to apply it. I found it too messy and you have to wait a few days to see if any air bubbles remained. I'd rather go with with a dry application screen protector.
 
that's the way these are looking, you gotta use some spray liquid to apply it. There's a tutorial video linked on the page, I guess you're supposed to let it sit for 12+hrs for it to set into place.

I bought one too (brushed steel), out for delivery today woot! I'll be doing a youtube vid for the install more than likely
 
Well I attempted the video but I got too immersed in getting the skin lined up to care about it anymore haha. It's a cool skin but I kinda wish it was a little bit thicker it really does feel like a glorified sticker. Be advised the sides are a pain they could've made those a little wider also it was a PITA trying to line up a side with the other 2 flopping around. The highlight or value in the purchase is the screen protector that's a quality piece. Here's some pics

Hey, it looks great man :O If mine looks at least 70% as good as this, I'll be happy. But still wonder if I should have gotten the wood-like one :P
 
How easy is it to remove battery door, and do you think you could get a case on it with that on?

No problem with the door, they give you enough wiggle room that nothing is overlapping. I'd say for sure a silicone case could fit over or any actually it's a really thin skin
