Skipping googoo books...with a googoo book

My friend bought an ebook from googoo only to find that reading it supposedly requires downloading their crap app, latest version, of course. Is there some way around that? His phone has Nook, DjVu Reader, and Moon+Reader. The new file has that DRM or whatever "protection".
 
Isn't there some way? I've seen something about how to get rid of drm with computers, but not Android. Calibre would probably be a good choice if only there were an Android version.
 
Well the crap app is finally on the phone. It does seem to work with the book. How can it be found besides with "play books"? The title does not show up in downloads under files. Where is it?
