skipping music

Hi all,

I am currently having issues with the music player on my phone.

When playing music it will skip every 2/3 seconds (by skip I mean insert blank noise).

I have tried the standard music player, doubletwist and winamp and this does not fix it.

The same effect occurs when plugged into the phone headphones, plugged into the aux input in the car or just playing out of the phone speakers.

This does not happen all the time and rebooting solves the problem. I have yet to find the trigger for this.

Any ideas?

Maybe it's your music files?

I don't think it's the music files as a reboot can fix the issue. I think it's a problem with the Kernel. Since you flashed a custom ROM you modified the kernel. I'd ask the developer of Villain ROM, or other members who have the same ROM on their phone.
