Help Skipping Recording on App

I have this music app called "Pocketband" and every time I record & listen to the audio, before I upload it to the song, it plays and skips. I don't know if it's the app or my phone but it's frustrating the hell out of me. PLEASSEE SOMEE HELP MEEE !
 
What phone have you got, make, model, and Android version? PocketBand with it's multitrack recording, mixing, effects, etc possibly requires something with quite a good performance, so it can process fast enough without skipping. How fast and stable is your data connection, because that has to be something pretty good for the "social" sharing and collaborating

I have a HTC Desire 510, Model OPCV1, and my Android version is 4.4.2. & my phone is off currently. I only use Wi-Fi.
