hi all!

need help!!! i am trying to avoid rooting my droid charge so im hoping one of you can help me here. i uninstalled skype but now i want to re-install it, however i need to remove a file "com.skype.raider" first. every forum online is saying i need to root my phone to get at the file...... is there anyway around this?!?! i have done a lot of research & have installed quite a few apps to try to find this file and have not been able to resolve the problem. i also really do not want to reset the phone to factory settings.

Thanks for any advice you can give!!

Was Skype pre-installed on your phone? Some phones come with Skype pre-installed. If that's the case, you cannot uninstall it without having a rooted phone. (So, I'm not sure what you mean when you say you uninstalled it.)

If you installed Skype yourself, you do not need root to remove it.

Hi Amloti,
in my case "YES"! Actually it was installed and i have uninstalled the pre-installed skype, because the "front video cam" was not working and according to my information, by re-installation the newest version it might work, anyways later on i have tried to re-install it again and it appeared "Insufficient storage available" so I have switched the Tablet off and on again a couple of minutes later and it appeared the same!, well it is a little bit strange for me allthough there are enough storage available! I Appreciate to recieve any recommendations!
