Skype on Fascinate?

Free when on wifi AND calling another Skype user...??? I didn't think it was true VOIP where you could call from your Skype on your cell to someone else's cell, etc. It has to be skype to skype.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Well that's crap, I pay like 3 bucks a months to skype so I can call any phone in the US. Verizon forces you to use your cell minutes if its not skype to skype? My iPhone is turned off now from AT&T but I can still make calls over wifi. Maybe I'll keep it lol.
 
The skype that VZW pre-installs does not work over wi-fi. If I uninstall that, and install the unlocked version from xeudoxus, it will not log in.

Has anyone been able to successfully use skype on the fascinate both wi-fi, and 3g?
