Help Skype on LG GPAD

Has anyone been successful in getting Skype to use the back-facing camera rather than the front one? It seems to have an option to switch cameras just as you can do in taking a photo, but doesn't seem to allow that back camera.

Maybe not supported by Skype?

I just got my Pad last night. I will install it and see.

I know it works fine on my phone, the HTC One M7 where I can toggle between the front n back camera.
 
Thanks for the response. Let me know. I also works on my Samsung phone as well. That is why I suspect it might be product specific as supported by Skype. Then again, maybe I am doing something wrong.

Thanks for the follow up. I just tried it again and was still unsuccessful.

I'm using Kit-Kat version of Android OS. Not sure if that was a factor.

I connect via Skype then 'tap' on my own image that is showing on the screen. Then I press the blue video camera icon and get 2 choices. One to turn off the video and the other is to switch camera. But in selecting switch camera nothing changes.
