skype question

Swype is what I meant, sorry.

Anyway to turn off swype just in landscape mode? For example, I want to have swype when my phone is in portrait mode, but when I turn my phone to landscape I want to have it go to the regular keyboard.

i too have been wanting this but unless something has changed recently it is still not possible.... maybe with root but i am not sure how ... the keyboard feature uses a single app ... someone would probably have to edit the swype app to be a normal keyboard in landscape ... instead of it changing from one to the other

The only way I know to do it would be to put the phone in landscape mode, long press the text input field, and select touch input. Not sure if there's a way to make it do it automatically.
